During a process audit the tagging department was found to be the biggest bottleneck because all products needed a tag. After employee interviews I found that the location of the old tag room was in the wrong location (it was in a cafeteria corner), and that most of time only one tagging machine was being utilized. A new tagging room was built in a section of the warehouse was was accessible to all departments. A server cabinet was purchased and installed with a new switch and over 100 feet of cable was ran between this room and closest switch.
